Panel Programming

  • Enter Engineering Mode.
  • Engineer Menu 56
  • Select Ethernet Module (Menu 4)
  • Select Alarm Reporting (Menu 2)
  • Select Format (Menu 1)
  • Enter SIA (Option 2)
  • Select SIA level 3
  • Ensure Trigger 10 is ON
  • Ensure Trigger 18 is ON
  • Activate any further triggers which are required
  • Select Primary IP (Option 2)
  • Set IP Address. Acceptable values <127.0.0.1> to <127.0.0.9>
  • Set Port Number <50561>
  • Select Account Number (Option 4)
  • Enter Site ID <_____> (Chip Number)
  • Go to Remote Access (Option 3)
  • Select Access Period (Anytime)
  • Select Mode (Direct Access)
  • Escape to return to Engineering mode.
  • Exit Engineer Mode into Day Mode
  • Panel Connection - as a Telecoms Module
  • Engineer Menu 56
  • Select External Telecoms Module (Option 5)*
  • Select Alarm Reporting (option 2)
  • Select Format (Option 1)
  • Enter SIA (Option 2)
  • Select SIA level 3
  • Ensure Trigger 10 is on
  • Ensure Trigger 18 is on
  • Activate any further triggers which are required
  • Select Tel No. 1 (Option 2)
  • Set Phone number (01234 567890)
  • Select Account Number (Option 3)
  • Enter Site ID <_____> (Chip Number)
  • Go to Remote Access (Option 3)
  • Select Access Period (Anytime)
  • Select Mode (Direct Access)
  • Older panels may support an Internal Telecom Module (Menu 1) which may be classed as an External Module

Galaxy Troubleshooting

  • Menu 23: Panel Firmware Version
  • Menu 62: Full Set inside Engineering
  • Galaxy panels running version V1.4 and below cannot support SIA and are a pins only integration.
  • Panel Manufacturer Default Codes - USER: 1234 or USER 12345
  • Panel Manufacturer Default Codes - ENGINEER: 112233

G2 - Specific Programming

  • Follow above Panel Programming then complete the below - Galaxy G2 Panels Only
  • Select H/W Priority (Option 6)
  • 1.Select Telecom [0]
  • 2.Select Ethernet [1]
  • Use escape to return to Engineer Mode. You need to fully exit Engineering to find the WebWay as a Comms module, we also emulate a Keypad, typically Comms Module 004 and Keypad 015 – varies between panels.
  • SPT is running V1.12 or later.
