Panel Connection

The Scantronic i-on requires a special serial connector from WebWayOne in order to allow full SIA and upload/download functionality. The serial connector is fitted as shown.

Now connect the WebWay PWR + and - to the GND and +12V terminals on the Scantronic Panel.

Panel Programming

To configure the panel, the SPT must be fully configured and wired to the panel and then rebooted.
This causes the panel to query all devices connected and make available various menu options available in the Keypad and in the Web browser

Panel Communication on initial setup

If no data transfer has occurred between the WebWay and the Scantronic i-on after a short period of time, the panel stops communicating and will require a restart to begin again. This only applies to the initial setup and does not affect ongoing alarm communications.





Enter Engineer mode

1. INSTALLER MENU will be displayed with Detectors/Devices below.Press the down key until you find Communications Press the right key 
2. COMMUNICATIONS will be displayed with ARC Reporting below it. Press the right key.
3. ARC REPORTING will be displayed with Call Mode below it. Press the right key.
4. CALL MODE will be displayed. Use the up and down keys to select Single. Press the Accept\Tick key.
5. Press the down key.

6. ARC REPORTING will be displayed with IP Network below it. Press the right key.
7. IP NETWORK will be displayed with Unit Name below it. Press the right key. Then enter a description name** and press the Accept\Tick key.
8. Press the down key.
9. POLLING IP Address will be displayed, press right key and clear the contents. Press the Accept\Tick key.
10. Press the down key.
11. ARC IP Address will be displayed, press right key and IP Address 1 is displayed.
12. Enter the IP address 127.0.0.1  (for dot press * key).Press the Accept\Tick key.
13. Change IP ADDRESS 1 to the description name as chosen in step 7. Press the Accept\Tick key.
14. Press the down key and IP Address 2 is displayed. Press right key and clear contents.
15. Press the Accept\Tick key twice.

16. Press the left key twice back to ARC REPORTING will be displayed with IP Network below it.
17. Press the down key and Account Numbers will be displayed.
18. Press right key and select Accounts to enter account numbers.
19. Back to ARC REPORTING and Account Numbers. 
20. Report Type will be displayed, press theright key, then select SC SIA 3
21. CID/SIA Events, press the right key, then set selection.
22. Restorals, press the right key, then  set selection
23. Back to COMMUNICATIONS.

24. IP Network (Own) press the right key, then on Module: Ethernet, press the right key. Enter the  following  IP Address = 127.0.0.1
25. IP Network (Own) > Module: Ethernet > Port Number = 55132
26. IP Network (Own) >  Module: Ethernet  > Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.0 
27. IP Network (Own) >  Module: Ethernet  > Gateway Address = 127.0.0.1

28. Downloading  >  Account >  Name = As per Installation
29 Downloading  >  Account >  Serial Number = Any 8 digit number, this must match the numbered entered into the UDL software.
31. Downloading  > Access Mode = Unattended
32. Downloading  > P Network  > IP Address  > IP Address 1 = 127.0.0.1
33. Downloading  > IP Network >  IP Address  > IP Address 1 change to description chosen earlier
34. Downloading  > IP Network  > IP Address > IP Address 2 = empty
35. Downloading >  IP Network  > Port Number > select the descriptor chosen earlier  = 55132
36. Downloading > IP Network > Port Number > IP Address 2 = empty

For panel version 4.0 firmware and above

Login to panel as a user
Select System Config > Facilities On/Off > set Remote Access to ON


Web Access – Only complete these steps if web access is needed

If you require Web Access then the panel requires a fixed IP address allocated to it.

IP Network (Own)  > Panel Ethernet  > Web Server > Status = Enabled
IP Network (Own)  > Panel Ethernet  > Web Server  > Port Number = 80
IP Network (Own) > Panel Ethernet > IP Address = allocated IP address
